As you develop your piloting skills, you may get tired of the local routes. If this is the case, a cross-border flight may be just what you need.
Throughout the experience, you’ll learn to plan and navigate across two countries. The routes are at the student/pilot’s discretion; however, Cooking Lake, AB direct to Great Falls, MT is often the most efficient route departing, returning through Lethbridge, AB to clear customs, then back to Cooking Lake.
Pilots will learn using US charts, proper customs communications and proper form filing and document preparation.
Students are encouraged to set up an eAPIS (electronic Advance Passenger Information System) account 7 days in advance before booking this flying experience.
