Cooking Lake Aviation In Partnership With Student Aid Alberta
Cooking Lake Aviation is one of few flight schools in Alberta to offer a partnership with Student Aid Alberta, ultimately allowing students to acquire financing to kick start their commercial flight training. We are very excited to be recognized as a verified educational institution by Student Aid Alberta and look forward to assisting you with this viable option in order to accomplish your flying goals.
Student Aid Alberta categorizes the Fixed Wing Training Program into four components as outlined below:

- Multi Engine Rating
- Multi-Engine Instrument Rating (Group 1)

For each of these components, Student Aid Alberta allocates a maximum allowable amount of $15,000 available to students ($60,000 total).
The maximum assistance provided by Student Aid Alberta for students to complete an entire fixed wing training program is equivalent to the maximum amount of funding available for four semesters of post-secondary studies.
